Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) play a crucial role in providing primary healthcare, often acting as a first point of contact for patients. They are registered nurses with advanced training, enabling them to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of conditions, similar to a GP. ANPs can prescribe medication, order investigations, and refer patients to specialists, contributing to a more efficient and effective healthcare system.
