Urgent advice: Urgent Appointment

We have urgent on the day appointments Monday-Friday. This is a service provided by the Practice for patients who have an acute condition.

When you get in touch, the reception team will ask what the problem is you are presenting with on that day. 

We will use the information you give us to choose the most appropriate clinician.

Routine Appointment

To request a routine appointment:

  • phone us on 01772 501710, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6:30pm
  • use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) to book GP appointments 

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit.  A home visit if for patient who are too ill or frail to attend the surgery.  

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10:30am.

Once a request for a home visit has been made a clinician will phone you first to understand what you need.  We cannot guarantee that the patient's usual doctor will attend.

 

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery

Please let the receptionist no: 

  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

     

     

     

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
  • phone us on 01772 501 710, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm
  • reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

Extended Access Appointments

The surgery now offers access to bookable appointments up to 8pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday and Sunday.  Please be advised that availability is limited and will be by pre-booked appointment only.  Please be aware these extended access appointments are not provided from this surgery and you may need to travel to an alternative practice.

These appointments will not be available to book on line therefore please speak to a member of our reception staff for further advice.

Non-urgent advice: If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
